What is Mesotherapy Microneedling At Burgundy Skin & Beauty?
Mesotherapy Microneedling at Burgundy Skin & Beauty is an advanced skin treatment that combines professional microneedling with carefully selected topical mesotherapy serums, creating a personalised treatment for your skin. Fine, sterile needles create controlled microchannels in the skin, which support the skin's natural repair response and the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin. During treatment, your practitioner selects professional serums according to your individual skin concerns, so your session can be tailored to what your skin needs. This isn't a treatment designed for an instant glow. Mesotherapy Microneedling is designed to progressively improve the quality, texture and appearance of the skin over a course of treatments.
Treatment Time: Approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on the area and treatment depth selected
Treatment Areas: Face. Ideal for fine lines, early signs of ageing, loss of firmness, uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores, acne scarring and dull or dehydrated-looking skin
How Mesotherapy Microneedling Works
The microneedling device creates thousands of controlled microscopic channels in the skin. This controlled stimulation triggers the skin's natural wound-healing and remodelling process, which is why results continue to develop after you leave the salon. Over time, this process may help improve the appearance of fine lines, scarring, texture and overall skin quality. The mesotherapy element allows your practitioner to select professional topical serums to target specific concerns, such as hydration, revitalisation or age management, so your treatment can adapt as your skin changes rather than following the same protocol at every visit.

You'll feel the microneedling device moving across the skin, and the sensation varies depending on the area being treated and the depth selected. Some areas are naturally more sensitive than others, particularly the forehead and other bony areas of the face. Your treatment is carefully controlled by your skin specialist, with the intensity selected according to your skin, your concern and the area being treated.
-
This depends on what we're treating. A shorter course may be enough for general skin rejuvenation, while more established concerns, such as acne scarring, uneven texture or visible signs of ageing, may benefit from a longer programme. Treatments are typically spaced around 4 to 6 weeks apart, giving your skin sufficient time to recover and move through its natural remodelling process. Your practitioner will assess your skin at consultation and recommend a personalised treatment plan.
-
Mesotherapy Microneedling has more visible downtime than many of our maintenance facials, although this varies between clients and the treatment intensity used. Immediately afterwards, your skin will usually look pink or red and may feel warm, tight or sensitive, similar to mild sunburn. Over the following few days, you may notice redness, tightness, dryness, mild swelling, sensitivity, light flaking or roughness, and a temporary increase in the visibility of marks or imperfections. For most clients, the most noticeable redness settles within approximately 24 to 48 hours, though some residual dryness or sensitivity can last a little longer. We recommend allowing a few days of social downtime, particularly before an important event.
-
You may notice your skin looking fresher once the initial redness has settled, but the real benefits of microneedling develop progressively as your skin's natural repair and remodelling process continues over the following weeks. For more established concerns, such as scarring, fine lines or texture, results are best assessed after completing a full course of treatments rather than after a single session. Results and individual responses vary from person to person.
