What is Hydra Tight At Burgundy Skin & Beauty?
Burgundy Hydra Tight combines two of our advanced skin treatments, Hydra Glow and Radio Frequency Skin Tightening, in one complete facial. It brings together the deep cleansing, exfoliating and hydrating benefits of Hydra Glow with the warming, firming benefits of radio frequency, so you leave with that fresh, deeply cleansed Hydra Glow finish while also working on firmness and skin quality. Think of it as your Hydra Glow with an added tightening boost.
Treatment Time: 75 Minutes
Treatment Areas: Face. Ideal for dehydrated or lacklustre skin, congestion, rough or uneven texture, early laxity and fine lines, or anyone wanting a fresh, hydrated glow alongside a gradual firming benefit.
How Hydra Tight Works
Hydra Tight combines two treatment approaches within one appointment. The Hydra Glow element deeply cleanses and exfoliates the skin, helping to lift surface debris and congestion, before hydrating solutions are applied to leave the complexion feeling smoother, fresher and replenished. Radio frequency is then used to deliver controlled heat into the deeper layers of the skin, creating a warming effect within the tissue that supports collagen remodelling and helps improve the appearance of firmness over time. Together, the two elements allow us to work on both surface skin quality and deeper firmness in a single treatment.

Hydra Tight is generally a very comfortable treatment. During the Hydra Glow portion, you may feel gentle suction and movement across the skin as it's cleansed and exfoliated. The radio frequency portion feels warm and relaxing as the handpiece moves continuously across the treatment area, and many clients find this part particularly soothing.

Hydra Tight can be enjoyed as a one-off treatment when you simply want fresh, hydrated skin. If firmness or skin laxity is your main concern, we generally recommend a course of treatments, as radio frequency works progressively. For general skin maintenance, Hydra Tight can be incorporated approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. If we're specifically targeting firmness, your therapist may initially recommend treatments closer together as part of a course, depending on your individual skin. Your Burgundy therapist will assess your skin and recommend the most appropriate programme for you.
-
There is minimal to no downtime with Hydra Tight. Immediately afterwards, the skin may appear slightly pink or flushed, particularly following the radio frequency portion, but this usually settles quickly. Most clients can return to their normal activities straight after treatment.
-
Hydra Tight offers a combination of immediate and progressive benefits. Following your first treatment, skin can look fresher, smoother, plumper, more hydrated and more refined thanks to the Hydra Glow element. The benefits associated with radio frequency are more progressive and are best appreciated over a course of treatments, as repeated sessions help encourage the processes associated with collagen remodelling. Results and individual responses vary from person to person.
-
Keep the skin well hydrated and protected with a broad-spectrum SPF in the days following your treatment. Avoid saunas, steam rooms and very hot showers for 24 to 48 hours, as heat can add to any post-treatment sensitivity. Avoid harsh exfoliants or active skincare ingredients for a few days until any redness has settled, and drink plenty of water to support your skin's hydration. Your therapist will talk you through any specific aftercare for your skin at your appointment.

Radio frequency works by creating controlled heating within the skin, which can make the skin appear temporarily firmer immediately after treatment. More importantly, repeated treatments are used to encourage the processes associated with collagen remodelling, so improvements in firmness tend to be gradual rather than dramatic after a single session. We recommend viewing Hydra Tight as a progressive skin treatment rather than a one-off lifting procedure.

Yes. As there's generally very little downtime, Hydra Tight can be a lovely treatment ahead of a special occasion. The Hydra Glow portion leaves the skin looking fresh and polished, while the hydration helps create a plumper, more luminous finish. If you haven't had the treatment before, we'd always recommend having your first session well in advance of an important event, in case your skin responds differently than expected.
